Job Summary

Jayden’s Journey requires Budtenders to assume the role in assisting and educating people in finding the best options for their needs and ensuring patrons are receiving the best care possible. Budtenders are responsible for demonstrating efficient work methods, educating people on products and dosing, intake and verification, operating a POS system, and cashing out patrons while maintaining a professional and safe environment for people to access products. The role is a complex one. You will go through an extensive training to ensure you are qualified to make accurate recommendations to each person you help.

Essential Job Functions

• Administer the best level of care and service to our patients

• Organize workflow and have understanding of duties or delegated tasks

• Advanced product knowledge

• Cash handling

• Manage time efficiently and effectively

• POS operations including creating new orders, adjusting open orders, adding items, discounts, applying loyalty points, voiding items, cashing out orders and reprinting receipts

• Pass on information to management from patrons and vice versa

• Stay current on laws and city ordinances

• Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures

• Communicate effectively with management and employees

• Work with others to create a positive environment to best serve our patrons

• Abilities and skills required for Budtender position:

• Provide exceptional and professional service

• Ability to effectively communicate and take direction

• Problem solving and problem analysis skills

• Ability to stay on task and prioritize

• Reliability, punctuality, initiative, adaptability, patience and integrity

• Attention to detail with the ability to multitask while keeping accurate documentation

• Transportation and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
